Shackled Excellence
Carly Tarkari Dodd has a passion for expressing her Aboriginal heritage through art and storytelling. As part of a residency project, the Kaurna/Narungga and Ngarrindjeri artist is creating a body of contemporary woven sculptural works that celebrate the achievements of Aboriginal people while also highlighting the injustices they face. She will frequently be at work in the exhibition space and her developing works will be on display throughout her residency, revealing her artistic process of research and creation.
Shackled Excellence is presented as part of Tarnanthi Festival of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art
