Sisterhood

Two woven halves form a single sister bag. Each side relies on precise tension and direction to hold its shape. A basket cannot hold anything if its stitches are weak or loose. This reflects the unity of Ngarrindjeri women, together they are stronger. Their strength, resolve, and leadership is unwavering. They STAND together against harm, protecting culture and each other. The large scale bag carries only a fraction of that staunch power. Sisterhood sits at its core. Care, shared struggle, and collective strength forged in the hardest times.
